History:                     During the late Georgian period at the end of the 18^th century there were many fads as the monied classes attempted to re-create the fashions of a bygone era. One of these fads was the Gothic Revival. Grand country houses aped the enormous open fireplaces of this time and mimicked their simple yet imposing lines.

Colour / Texture:     Light beige limestone hand rubbed and aged.  

Character:                 Very popular in traditional, period and country properties.  

Points to note:         1) It is possible to modify this fireplace to fit different dimensions. We can also produce other fireplace designs to order. 

Usage:                        Interiors only.
