Antiqued Distressed Bourgogne StoneHistory: Distressed Bourgogne is modeled on Antique Dalle de Bourgogne that was used in period properties and chateaux of the mid 17th to 18th centuries. Colour / Texture: Designed to replicate those properties from the mid 17th to 18th centuries that were deemed important enough to warrant selected blocks of stone for their floors. The tile colour was therefore reasonably consistent with minimal veining and beige to grey tones. The surface has been softly aged to reflect many years of domestic wear. Character: Favours more traditional contemporary kitchens and properties, which are crying out for a floor with real character. Especially good where a traditional flooring material is required, but where it is important to follow a neutral tone throughout. Points to note: 1) As this floor is cut and aged when initially produced it is best to give it a few months of foot traffic for the real patina and beauty of this floor to appear. 2) Ideal for hardwearing areas especially kitchens and entrance hallways. Usage: Interiors and exteriors. Pricing: All prices are ex-UK depot plus delivery and sales tax or VAT as appropriate.
